I've personally tried a number of those recommended here at MUO over time. One good example is Bakari's review of Wunderkit, or Azim's review of Chaos Control. I track work stuff on it (individual and team tasks/projects), personal (todos, ideas, "maybe" projects), family stuff (grocery lists, menus, home projects, chores, wish lists, etc.) There are more details I love, but this is a start to see if you're interested. We've explored a steady stream of time and task management apps through the years. It's also highly customizable to how you want to use it. If you can sell your project team on it, everyone can view and update a shared workspace for any given project. What I love most about Trello is it's a collaborative platform. Trello also recently added a calendar view, and they're constantly working on upgrades. The interface to GCal is a little clunky, but if you don't mind going into your GCal to tweak reminder options, it works. There are a handful of ways to sync it to GCal, giving you every reminder your heart desires. Depends on how quickly you want to be able to add tasks – it doesn't bother me to open the app on my phone and add that way. I'm always on wifi or 3G, so I haven't tested what it'll do without connectivity.

I'm using ( It's a web app, with corresponding smart phone apps. I am hoping that you will tell me about the task management solution you use, what features it provides, and why you stick with it. Google Calendar integration would be a godsend - but isn't totally necessary. Can send reminders for tasks with dates/times to my phone - a notification, text message, or email would all be fine. Can quickly add a task on any platform - like a global hotkey for Windows/Mac, or a homescreen widget for Android.Has offline capabilites for each platform.I'm hoping to find a solution with the following capabilites: I am unable to get notification reminders for events with a date/time to work at all.It does not have any desktop apps, to allow quick entry or offline mode from computers. But I'm planning on switching away from GQueues because: I am currently using GQueues, which is nice because it integrates with my Google Calendar. For many years I have relied heavily on using todo list software to keep myself organized and productive.
